Ovie Omo-Agege legal battles.
The Appeal Court ruled yesterday that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State was validly elected.
In his reaction, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege told Oborevwori not to celebrate yet and that he was heading towards the Supreme Court.
It is the right of Omo Agege to exhaust all the legal avenue.
But we advise him to accept the court judgement in good faith.
Let us look at the electoral facts.
Out of the 25 local government areas, his party won six.
He should therefore listen to the voice of reasons and prepare for the next election, about four years from today.
The electoral failure of Omo Agege could be traced to two factors.
Firstly ,in his inordinate ambition to become the APC Governorship candidate, he offended many prominent APC members.
He hijacked the party structures and installed his cronies.
Secondly, in the APC presidential primaries, he backed Senator Ahmed Lawan instead of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
