Delta State Commissioner for Information and Spokesperson, Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organisation, Mr Charles Aniagwu, has called for calm over the row between the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and youth in Ughelli.

Aniagwu made the call at a news conference in Asaba today, while responding to questions from journalists.

The commissioner said that the call had become necessary to make the people not to act outside the law, stressing that everyone, irrespective of status, was under the law.

He reasoned that the EFCC was a creation of law and could operate anywhere in the country, while also stressing that such must be done with the law.

According to Aniagwu, the state government had order an investigation into the issue, to whether the EFCC or the youth acted within the law or not.
