The governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has described Ika women as great political organizers and strategizers in Nigeria.
Okowa who is also the vice presidential candidate of PDP made this description today in his official Twitter account.
He praised women of Ika federal constituency who paid him a courtesy visit yesterday at his country home in Owa-Alero.
The governor thanked the women for their prayers and support over the year.
Said Okowa:’Our women from Ika federal constituency of Delta State are some of the greatest organizers and strategizers that I know. This is why, yesterday when I met with them at my country home in Owa-Alero, I thanked them for their support and prayers over the years and I let them know that we will need their individual and collective talents for the journey that lies ahead’.
