Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State remains a loyal member of the PDP and had promised to work for the victory of the party.
Honourable Charles Aniagwu, a spokesman for PDP campaign organization said this today in Asaba, the Delta State capital while speaking to reporters.
Aniagwu said that Wike has promised to deliver the presidential candidate and other PDP candidates in Rivers State.
What the party was working at was to convince Wike to work with others of like minds to ensure a total victory for the party throughout the country.
Aniagwu who is also the Delta State Information Commissioner said Atiku Abubakar was committed to bring all PDP members on board in the task of rescuing Nigeria from the inefficient and clueless APC led federal government.
On the rumoured misunderstanding between former president Olusegun Obasanjo and Atiku Abubakar, the PDP campaign organization spokesman said that his principal (Atiku) enjoys rosy relationship with Obasanjo.
He added that at no time did Obasanjo say he would work against the candidature of Atiku Abubakar.
The spokesman argued that the qualities that made Obasanjo chose Atiku in 1999, the same qualities would make Obasanjo to support the PDP presidential candidate in 2023 elections
