The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Rt. Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori, has assured Deltans that the state would benefit greatly by ensuring that they vote for all PDP candidates in the Presidential, Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly in the forthcoming 2023 elections.

Oborevwori made the call severally during the PDP ward-to-ward campaign visit to Ethiope East Local Government Area.

Speaking with the enthusiastic crowd that thronged the venues of the rally which took off from Abraka to Uvuarie, Oria, Eku, Okpara Waterside, and finally to Oviorie-Ovu wards, Oborevwori pointed out that with Atiku as President and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as Vice-President and all PDP candidates from Delta elected into the Senate and House of Representatives, they would present a strong force in Abuja to attract development to the state.

“I call on Deltans to vote PDP five-over-five. First is for Atiku and Okowa at the Presidency. In Delta Central, it is Chief Ighoyota Amori for Senate. He has fought several battles for the benefit of Delta Central and Urhoboland through his formation of various groups, the last of which was DC-23. For the House of Representatives, it is Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu. She has served two tenures in the Delta State House of Assembly and garnered experience to deliver. With them in Abuja and with me in Delta as Governor, you can be sure that whatever we desire for our state shall be met.

“The most important are the federal roads that connect the state which have been left in bad shape by the APC. You can be sure that with Okowa, Amori, and Erhiatake, those roads will be attended to,” he said.

Speaking on the needs of the people of Ethiope, he said the PDP had been the only source of development in the area and his administration would do more for the people.

Buttressing Oborevwori’s point, Chief Amori hinted that within one year, the road from Eku to PTI Junction in Effurun would be dualised to ease transportation, business and commerce in that axis for the benefit of the people.

At Abraka Ward 1, Oborevwori promised the people a very special reward, if they returned all candidates of the PDP.
