If Nigerians are serious of ending President Bola
Tinubu reign, the best option is that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr Peter Obi should work together as one team.
Mr Dele Momodu, a political ally of Atiku canvassed this sentiment yesterday, adding that is the only way to defeat Tinubu in 2027.
He maintained that the former vice president Atiku and Mr Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate have the political qualities to dislodge Tinubu from Aso Rock.
Momodu, a magazine publisher observed that it would be difficult for a southern candidate to unseat Tinubu in 2027 presidential election.
He therefore appealed to Peter Obi to be the running mate of Atiku in ADC.
Listen to Momodu: ‘I have said this to Peter Obi. We have met several times in my house in Lagos and Ghana. If Peter Obi does not take advantage of a ready made union between him and Atiku, it would be very unfortunate. It would be as good as working for Tinubu to come back .’
The Pond News understands that many Nigerians see Atiku as a man of vaulting ambition and a serial presidential contender since the second term of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
His entry into the ADC is to contest the 2027 election.
It is not clear if Peter Obi would agree to run on the ADC ticket with Atiku.
