What I ‘ll do with fuel subsidy money- Tinubu

The presidential candidate of APC Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that he would remove the fuel subsidy and channel the money into the productive sectors of the economy.
He listed the areas as public infrastructures, transportation, affordable housing, education and healthcare.
Tinubu spoke yesterday at a presidential dialogue organized by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group.
The APC standard bearer said the fuel subsidy regime had outlived its usefulness.
Said Tinubu:’We must remove the PMS subsidy immediately. It has outlived its shelf life as a public good….
And the subsidy money will not be saved because that means elimination from the economy. Instead we will redirect the funds into public infrastructures, transportation, affordable housing, education and health and strengthen the social safety net for the poorest of the poor, thus averting increased security challenges.’
