The Atiku/Okowa PDP presidential ticket is committed to rescuing Nigeria from the seven years of APC misule.
Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the vice presidential running mate made this pledge in Asaba today during a homecoming reception organized by the state chapter of PDP.
Okowa said the ticket was ready to work with students, youths and market women to put the nation on the path of sustainable development.
He stated that the PDP has the strength and capacity of rebuilding Nigeria, adding that the PDP as a party could only say what it is capable of doing.
Okowa therefore called on Nigerians in general and Deltans in particular to collect their voter card as that is the only instrument to effect a change in democracy.
The senator disclosed that his principal Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was committed to restructuring the country in line with the spirit of federalism.
On the present state of insecurity, the vice presidential hopeful said that should his party win next year presidential election, the youths will be well engaged and the economy shall be put on strong footing.
Okowa thanked Deltans and the PDP for the homecoming reception.
