The Peoples Democratic Party has described as most absurd, illiterate and very illogical the claims by All Progressives Congress that PDP had taken stock of voters Cards of some electorate in Delta State to rig election.
In a press statement issued by the PDP Delta State publicity secretary Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza said the APC spokesman Ima Niboro must be living in stone age.
It would be recalled that Ima Niboro, director of communication and media strategy Delta APC claimed that the Delta State government was collecting voters cards to rig election.
The party said that it sympathized with the likes of Niboro ‘who have completely lost touch with modern realities, will still display the idiocy and ignorance of raking up old fashioned excuses to justify the pecuniary subsidy of his verbose office’.
The party said that the case of Niboro was typical of ‘It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it’
The publicity secretary maintained that it would be height of stupidity for anyone to use another person voters card as the card reader machine would reject such person because of different finger print.
The statement advised the APC to shore up its dwindling fortunes instead of media propaganda, adding that with the achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and providing jobs for the youths, defeat awaits the APC in next year election.
Osuoza concluded that Delta State remains in the PDP family and that there was nothing the APC could do about that.
