The Urhobo people of Delta State over the weekend elected a new leader.
He is Barrister Ese Gam, a Sapele based lawyer who hails from Eku in Ethiope East local government areas.
His election as the president general of Urhobo Progress Union took place at Urhobo House (UPU Secretariat) Agbarho in Ughelli North local government areas.
The Urhobos are in Delta Central senatorial district with a few of them in Delta South senatorial district.
