Chief Patrick Ukah, Director General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, vowed to enforce strict sanitation in public spaces, domestic areas, government and private organizations, adding that defaulters would be sanctioned.

Ukah disclosed this today during an indoor meeting with the agency’s environmental sanitation department members.

Ukah also stated that six different units must be created to carry out this job simultaneously, and a truck with loaders will be attached to each team.

He also said that media attachment should continue publication of the agency’s jingle, and news publications will be needed to create public awareness.

He also stated that the Environmental task force needs to notify appropriate quarters.

The Direction General of the Agency has made it clear that Oshimili South is the focal point of the sanitation exercise, and the council and the Palace of the Asagba of Asaba should be carried along.
