Some traditionalists from Owa kingdom in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State recently placed curses on kidnappers, cultists and enemies of the area.
The ceremony, which was done during the day at major junctions, caused serious vehicular obstruction as many people were struggling to catch a glimpse of the ritual.
The event which was unprecedented immediately sparked up reactions from residents of the locality.
While many people saw it as archaic and evil, others said it was necessary as all manner of evil deeds were on the rise.
It could be recalled that few weeks ago, some witchdoctors from Agbor in Ika South also rained curses on cultists and mastermind of evil practices in the area.
