If any pastor tells you that without paying tithes, you can’t make it to heaven, know that the pastor is simply lying.
This was the position of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God while apologizing to his members for misleading them on tithes.
He tendered the apology at the national youth convention of the church at the RCCG Redemption city.
Pastor Adeboye admitted his mistake :’I am going to be talking to everybody as soon as God permit me, I am going to apologise for making a mistake for saying that if you don’t pay tithe, you will not be making it to heaven. That is wrong.
That is not in the Bible.
What the Bible says is to make peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God. What the Bible says is, to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man will make heaven’.
