The APC presidential candidate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won most of the states in South West except Osun state.
In Osun state, the PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar defeated Tinubu with a wide margin.

Tinubu is also putting strong performances in Oyo state where results projections gave him 29 local government areas out of 33 LGA.
However, controversy trails result in Lagos State where results projections say that Tinubu is leading but lost in Ikeja LGA, his lGA to Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
