President Muhammadu Buhari today urged Nigerians to vote for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as reliable and true believer in Nigeria.
Buhari said that he was not contesting but has a candidate in the person of Tinubu.
Buhari stated that he was confident that Tinubu would build on the achievements of his administration.
Buhari expressed these sentiments via his verified Twitter account today.
Said Buhari :”I am not a contestant in the coming election, but my party, @OfficialAPCNig, has a candidate in the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I am calling on all of you to vote for @officialABAT. He is reliable, a true believer in Nigeria, and he will build on our achievements.”
In a related development, the president tweeted that he was aware of the current hardships faced by Nigerians.
He therefore made a passionate appeal to the citizens for patience and understanding.
He explained that the economic measures put in place by his address were for the good of all, adding that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
