The presidential candidate of APC Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been asked to forget the political colonization of Delta State and that Delta State will never be his ATM.
The PDP presidential campaign spokesman Charles Aniagwu threw the challenge yesterday in response to Tinubu allegation of lack of development in the state.
Aniagwu who is also the state commissioner for information wondered why Ovie Omo-Agege failed to tell Tinubu of the failed federal roads in the state.
Said:
Aniagwu :’Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has been prudent in managing the state economy.
We have a lot of infrastructures on ground for all the money that accrued to the state, ranging from roads to bridges, schools and human capital development. Their(APC) governorship candidate did not tell him that the road from the airport to the stadium is a federal road the APC led federal government failed to fix.’
Aniagwu said that Tinubu does not have the moral right to criticize Delta State because of his unknown identity, advising him to come clean on where he was born and schools attended.
Aniagwu argued thus :’Somebody whose records are still in doubt cannot be the one talking. Our state cannot be in his pocket the way he did in Lagos. Delta is not Lagos and our people cannot be deceived by such a person.’
