The presidential campaigns of APC and PDP descended to the gutter level with candidates throwing mud at each other.
Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate threw the first shot by asking Atiku to resign, describing Atiku as a serial failure.
Said Tinubu :’One says he is Atiku. How many times has he been running. He is always on the run. Tell him to go and sit down’.
Replying a spokesman for PDP presidential campaign Mr Kola Ologbodiyan said Tinubu has nothing to campaign other than to throw insults around.
Said Ologbodiyan:’It is unfortunate that a candidate that cannot offer, let alone activate alternative programmes is seeking to counsel Nigerians on how to cast their votes. Is it not laughable that a candidate who cannot campaign on a single achievement of his party’s misadventure in governance is seeking to blackmail Nigerians.’
