The Nigeria Police today promised to use all operational strategies to decimate the activities of criminal elements in the country.
The police also expressed its disapproval of fake news of bombs being planted in every area of the federal capital territory, adding that the public should disregard such fake news and that Abuja is safe.
In a statement by the Force Public Relations officer CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi through his verified Twitter account today, the police expressed dismay that even some traditional media were running such stories.
He said that the federal capital territory was safe and there was no imminent threat.
