The Central Bank of Nigeria has now extended the deadline for the use of old Naira notes to February 10, 2023.
The governor of CBN announced the extension of deadline today, from January 31 to February 10 in Daura, Katsina.
The Pond News understands that the announcement came after the CBN governor meeting President Muhammadu Buhari , Sunday morning.
Emefiele appealed to Nigerians to use this opportunity of extension to exchange the old Naira notes for new ones, adding that CBN shall make the new notes available to all banks.
