Rev. Father Anthony Ovayero Ewherido is now the Bishop of Warri Diocese
Until his appointment, Dr Ewherido was the Rector of Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija Ibadan.
A scion of the famous Ewherido family, he hails from Ewu, Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.
Ewherido, a prolific writer is a brother to late Senator Pius Akpor Ewherido.
The Ewheridos grew up in Ozoro in the 70s where their patriarch was a teacher in the defunct St. Joseph College, Ozoro in Isoko North LGA of Delta State.
