Silent Heroes Awards Initiative congratulates General Ochei and Fejokwu on retirement

The management and board of the Silent Heroes Awards Initiative (SHAI) heartily congratulate Major General Raymond Nkem Ochei (rtd) and Major General Lawrence Fejokwu (rtd) on their successful and meritorious retirement from the Nigerian Army, an exit achieved without blemish and marked by years of selfless service, discipline, and patriotism.

The organization celebrates the two distinguished generals for their unwavering commitment to national security, peacekeeping, and nation-building throughout their illustrious military careers. Their leadership footprints within and outside the Nigerian Armed Forces remain commendable examples of integrity, professionalism, and quiet impact.

Both Major General Ochei and Major General Fejokwu have also distinguished themselves beyond their call of duty by demonstrating a deep sense of love for humanity and a consistent passion for community development, particularly in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, their ancestral home. Through their philanthropy and mentorship, they have touched lives, empowered youths, and contributed meaningfully to local development in diverse ways, epitomizing the values that define true silent heroes.

According to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Silent Heroes Awards Initiative, Mr Odita Sunday, “The retirement of these two gallant officers is not the end of service, but the beginning of a new phase of impact. We are proud of their exemplary conduct and their modest contributions to humanity, which align with our organization’s vision of recognizing men and women who make remarkable differences without necessarily being loud about it.”

The Silent Heroes Awards Initiative once again congratulates Major Generals Ochei and Fejokwu on this milestone achievement and wishes them good health, fulfillment, and continued success in their post-service endeavors.
