The governor of Rivers State Chief Nyesom Wike has made good his threat to cause problems for the PDP.
Wike is in Federal High Court Abuja seeking the disqualification of the PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
He is asking the court to determine whether the stepping down of Sokoto State Governor Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal for Atiku was legal.
Wike is also seeking relief on Tambuwal addressing the PDP convention twice and asking his supporters to vote for Atiku.
Finally Wike is asking the court to declare him the winner of the May 28/29 2022 PDP presidential primary held in Abuja.
The Pond news understands that this is a major set back for the party.
It is a warning signal for the party come 2023 presidential election.
