SIDE KICK. UK Prime Minister resigns

The British Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned today after ruling for 45 days.
This makes her the shortest Prime Minister to stay in office.
According to the BBC monitored in Asaba, the Delta State capital, she made the announcement in front of 10, Downing Street, London.
The Pond news understands that her resignation was the fallout of the mini budget and the resultant inflation.
She said she could no longer work on the mandate on which she was elected by her party.
Said Truss:’I entered the office with a vision for a low tax, high growth economy that would take advantage of the freedoms of Brexit.
I recognize that given the situation, I cannot deliver the mandate which I was elected by the Conservative Party. I have therefore spoken to His Majesty the King to notify him that I am resigning as leader of the Conservative Party.’
The Pond news recalls that one parliamentarian described the former prime minister as talentless.
