A bedecked goat, a pagan symbol of the British monarch led the procession in London.
A reminder of the biblical line of God separating the sheep from the goats.
It is believed that the goat would bear the sins of the late monarch.
Throughout the church service, the crown was on top of the coffin.
The head of the monarch Chamberlain was made to break septre and placed it on the coffin.
King Charles, the first son of the queen placed a piece of cloth on the coffin.
Both the broken septre and cloth were buried with the coffin, according to the announcement made in the church.
The actual burial ceremony was witnessed by only the family members.
