The Appeal Court today cleared the way for Sheriff Oborevwori to contest next year governorship election on the platform of PDP.
The court in a judgement ruled that the Federal High Court erred by declaring David Edevbie as the PDP governorship candidate.
The three man panel led Justice Olabisi Ige ruled that there was no evidence that the PDP governorship candidate forged his certificates.
Said the Appeal Court:’There is no scintilla of evidence on record to prove that the appellant tendered forged certificates to INEC’
The Pond news hopes that the judgement will bring peace to the Delta State PDP family.
