The apex social cultural group of all Isokos, Isoko Development Union yesterday endorsed the PDP chairmanship candidate for Isoko North LGA.
The IDU President General Prof Chris Akpotu endorsed the PDP candidate, Elder Godwin Ogorugba during a courtesy visit at Isoko House, Oleh roundabout.

The Pond News understands that not all the Isoko people in Isoko North LGA belong to the PDP.
Further more, there are other political parties fielding candidates for the July 13 council polls.
IDU is supposed to be neutral in politics and gives its blessings to all Isoko sons and daughters gunning for election.
Taking side with the PDP confirms the highly held suspicion that the socio cultural group was romancing with the PDP government.
It is not too late for the IDU to withdraw the endorsement of the PDP candidate.
