The presidential candidate of the PDP,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has mocked the APC presidential candidate, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for calling Atiku a former Senate president.
It would recalled that on Monday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Tinubu while addressing APC supporters called the former vice president of Nigeria, the Senate president.
Atiku while sympathising with Tinubu on the gaffes said it was a very serious matter for the nation because of Tinubu position as a potential president.
He said the constant public gaffes of Tinubu was an embarrassment to Nigeria and indeed the entire black world.
Atiku therefore argued that a man who cannot control his mental faculties can not be effective president of Nigeria.
Said Atiku :’The constant gaffes of the APC candidate Bola Tinubu which started as a comic relief is slowly becoming a tragedy, an embarrassment to Nigeria, Africa’s largest nation.
Since Tinubu declared his intention to contest, he has made over 20 gaffes publicly. These gaffes, which have provided online skit markers with comic content, are no longer a laughing matter but a tragic embarrassment to a nation in dire need of salvation…..A man who lacks clear control of his mental faculties cannot lead a nation.’
The Pond News understands that the health status of Tinubu is becoming a grave concern to political analysts and Nigerians.
It would be recalled that when Tinubu came to Warri ,Delta State for campaign, he called Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the APC governorship candidate for Niger Delta.
