Security agent nabs man for stealing bike

By Christian Ogoh

Members of the Anti Cult Volunteer Corps, Ika North East Chapter, have arrested a middle aged man who specializes in stealing motorcycles at Boji-Boji Owa and its environs.

The suspect (name witheld), believed to be a native of Oguta in Imo State and his gang was linked to many missing bikes in the locality.

He is said to have met his waterloo when he and another criminal element, now at large, gained access into a particular compound and made away with a new bike.

It was gathered that they ran out of luck when a neighbour put a call across to members of the Anti Cult Volunteer Corps who immediately swung into action.

The culprits were given a hot chase before one of them was caught by the security operatives while the other escaped, but the motorcycle recovered.

Mr. Moses Efamehule, leader of the Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps, said “we will continue.to make Ika Land uncomfortable for criminals.”

He urged members of the public to always report any suspicious activities to security operatives.
