The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship candidate Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has been be told to focus on what he can provide for Deltans rather than standing on the shoulders of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to remain politically relevant.
This advice was given yesterday in Asaba by Mr Charles Aniagwu, Information commissioner while speaking to reporters.
Aniagwu said Gbagi’s allegations against Okowa administration existed more in the imagination of Gbagi.
He recalled that Gbagi could not get a single vote in the last PDP Governorship primary, describing him as a serial loser.
Aniagwu said thus :’Gbagi’s castigation is anything but porous. We are not weakened by any stretch of imagination as to our performances and our projects are visible like MTN, every where you go.’
Aniagwu said he was full of pity for Gbagi because SDP remains unknown party in Delta State.
Aniagwu who is also spokesman for the PDP presidential campaign organization said it would be a miracle for the SDP to get a single state legislator in 2023, adding that ‘Delta is PDP and PDP’.
He said the only ambition of Gbagi is to answer the name Governorship candidate and to see his name on INEC ballot.
