The President elect of Nigeria ,Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu sent his heart felt condolences to the victims and families of recent train and bus accident in Ikeja.
Tinubu offered his prayers to the dead and those who sustained injuries in the incident.
He also sympathized with the Lagos State government.
Tinubu expressed these sentiments today via his verified Twitter account.
He also said that he was following the emergency efforts of the government and public spirited individuals, adding that he was willing to offer his support where necessary.
Tinubu tweeted thus :’ I offer my sincere condolences to the victims and families affected by the gory incident involving a train and a bus in the Ikeja area of Lagos State.
I am praying for all, including those who died and those who sustained injuries in the incident.
My thoughts are with them and with the Lagos State government, even as I continue to follow the emergency response efforts closely and offer support, where necessary, to ensure that survivors and others involved receive the best care.”
