A philanthropist, Mr. Micheal Ikpinima has doled out food items and cash to widows numbering a hundred at Ojolu Area in Sapele as a way of giving back to the society.

Ikpinima while speaking to the press said it has been his desire to give back to the society from the much he is blessed with.

“I grew up at Ojolu – Sapele and I know how people in the area struggle to eke out a living” he said.

Ikpinima told newsmen that he does this every December for widows, but this year, he will not celebrate Christmas in Nigeria hence he was using the opportunity of being around in September to carry out his usual give away.

Ikpinima called on everyone that is blessed to emulate him and give to the needy around them as the blessed should be a channel of blessings to others.

He hinted that the Holy Book also commended this gesture when it said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
