The Directors of the Bureau for State Pension met with all PFA’s in Asaba today at the Felix Ibrus secretariat conference hall.

The most senior director Mrs Aruoture A. Ufuoma expressed how disappointed she felt when some retirees collect their certificate at Bureau and it will take two or more months to release their money from the PFAs.

She said that Pension Administrators should be helpful to retirees because they are aged and have no strength anymore like they used to be.

Adding that, it was painful for one to serve his for many years and still find it difficult to enjoy their gratuity after certificate has been issued.

The director therefore instructed all PFAs in Asaba to communicate with others outside Asaba to make the payment easy to the pensioners and make life easy for them.

She said, ‘I won’t be the one to eat their money because they all laboured for it. Some are passing through difficulties, some are seriously sick meanwhile their money is tired down with you, PFAs.’

The Bureau appealed to the pension administrators to help the Bureau contact those that the Bureau could not reach, especially the Harmonization which dose not have means to communicate them.

Mr. Efunudu Ezekiel the veritas Pension manager pleaded with the Bureau for their lapses and promised they will serve the retirees better adding that some can not be reach due to their mobile numbers which are no more in use or out of network coverage if relocated to their villages.
