The PDP has once again rejected the declaration of APC presidential candidate Senator Bola Tinubu by INEC as winner of the election based on principles and in the best interest of the country.
Mr Charles Aniagwu spokesman for the Atiku-Okowa presidential campaign council took this position today while addressing reporters in Asaba, Delta State capital.
Aniagwu observed that what happened last Saturday was that INEC compromised the integrity of the election.
He argued that INEC failed to obey the electoral law that stipulates the electronic transfer of election result from the unit level to INEC server.
He maintained that the electoral process was flawed by the deliberate refusal of INEC officials to use the available technology in the conduct of election.
The PDP spokesman stated that APC was just celebrating a stolen mandate of the people.
He urged PDP supporters to remain calm and maintain the existing peace.
He observed that most Nigerians were angry with the outcome of the presidential election and had voted for a country that works.
He lamented that the stolen mandate of APC was a backward movement as most Nigerians were not convinced that Tinubu won the election ,free and square.
He appealed to Deltans that the March 11 governorship election was a different ball game
He stated that the PDP governorship candidate Hon Sheriff Oborevweri was best qualified to build on the legacies of the okowa administration, adding that Deltans should not believe the lies of APC.
He also dispelled the rumour of government getting new loans as peddled by the APC governorship candidate.
