The presidential ticket of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa visited the family house of Yar’Adua in Katsina today.
The PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar said the visit to him was like homecoming, adding that he cut his political teeth there.
Atiku also disclosed his team paid a courtesy call on the Emir of Katsina, HRM Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.

The presidential hopeful said the two events proceeded the rally of PDP in Katsina.
Atiku tweeted thus :’Before proceeding to the ground for the grand rally of our great party, the @OfficialPDPNig, in Katsina, I undertook two important activities. First was the visit to the Yar’Adua family house, where I cut my political teeth.
I was hnoured this afternoon to be a guest of the Emir of Katsina, HRM Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, when I led my team on a courtesy visit to his palace. I’m most appreciative of his generous hospitality. ‘
