The Delta State Governor, Senator Okowa has lauded the cooperation between the executive and legislative arms as responsible for the achievements of his administration.
The governor appreciated the State legislators yesterday while presenting the 2023 budget in the State House of Assembly.
He spoke of the mutual respect, understanding and cooperation between the two arms of government
Said Okowa :’Let me appreciate this honourable house for your support and partnership since the inception of this administration. This house shares in the credit of the milestone achievements of this administration.’
On his part, the speaker of the State House of Assembly Hon Sheriff Oborevweri said the legislators would continue to cooperate with the executive so as to deliver the dividends of democracy to Deltans.
Said the Speaker :’The House will continue to cooperate with the executive to deliver more development in road and physical infrastructures and human capital till the end of this administration in May 2023.’
