The Delta State governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has condemned the murder of Dr Uyi Iluobe, a medical doctor.
He also said the state government was working with security agencies to bring the murderers to justice.
The Governor called on all Deltans to be part of the process of ridding the state of criminal elements.
Okowa shared these views today via his verified Twitter account.
He also urged Deltans to report all crimes and criminality around them to security agencies.
Okowa tweeted thus :’On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I mourn Dr. Uyi Iluobe, a hard-working medical practitioner, who was gruesomely murdered a few days ago.
As a government, we will support the security agencies to do everything possible to unearth those behind his killing and bring them to justice.
As Deltans, we have a duty to report all crimes and criminality around us to security agencies for prompt action, and I, therefore, urge all Deltans to be part of the process of ridding the state of criminal elements.’
