Okowa appreciates Kumuyi for his prayers
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa last week appreciated Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi for his faith and prayers for Nigeria.
He also urged other Nigerians to continue to pray for free, fair and peaceful elections.
Okowa made the remarks when the man of God paid the governor a courtesy call in Government House, Asaba.
The governor who is also the vice presidential candidate of the PDP said that Pastor Kumuyi and his congregation crusade coincided with the nation preparing for the general elections.

Okowa tweeted thus :’ Earlier this week, it was a great honour to receive Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi,the Founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry at the Government House, Asaba.
That visit, which coincided with Pastor Kumuyi and his congregation crusade in Delta State also comes at a time that the nation is preparing for the General Elections.
During our interaction, I thanked Pastor Kumuyi for his consistent prayers for our state and the nation, while stating that we must all continue to pray for free, fair, peaceful, and transparent elections across the nation.’
