The Labour Party wind of change has blown away the minority chief whip in the House of Representatives.
An okada rider on the platform of Labour Party, Mr Donatus Matthew defeated Hon Giden Gwani for the Kaura federal constituency of Kaduna state.
Hon Gwani is serving his 4th term in the House of Representatives.
There was wild jubilations when the announcement was made among Okada riders in the state.
Mr Donatus Matthew thanked his colleagues and other who voted for him.
He pledged that he would never forget them and that the dividends of democracy would get to them .

The political ambition of Ayade retiring to the Senate has been aborted.
