The leadership of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo has thrown its weight behind the Delta State PDP governorship candidate ,Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
The group drawn from Delta Central and South senatorial districts gave this endorsement today in a town hall meeting in Effurun , Delta State.
The group also pledged their support to all the PDP candidates for House of Assembly in the two senatorial districts.
This information was disclosed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa via his verified Twitter account.
The group maintained that their endorsement of the PDP guber candidate and State House of Assembly candidates was a vote of confidence on Okowa administration and the stronger Delta agenda.
Okowa tweeted thus :”Earlier today, at a Town hall meeting in Effurun, the leaders of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo in Delta Central and Delta South senatorial districts, endorsed the @OffcialPDPNig candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for the March 18 governorship election.
The group also gave their full support to all the candidates of the PDP for the House of Assembly election, stating that their endorsement is a vote of confidence in my administration’s leadership and #StrongerDelta agenda .”
