Ogwashi Uku poly to get more accredited programmes

Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu ,the State Commissioner for Higher Education has assured the management of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku of accreditation of more courses .
Ashibogwu made the pledge in Ogwashi-uku during an official visit/ inspection of on-going projects in the institution within the week.
“We are certain and confident that we would secure full accreditation for all programmes the school needed to run smoothly,” he stated.
He said that the institution was established to give special education to Deltans, adding that he was very happy that the institution had not failed in its core mandate.
He further maintained that there were necessary provisions on ground as regards completion of all projects and the road networking in the school.
Earlier, the Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-uku, Prof. Emmanuel Achuenu disclosed that the institution had recorded many achievements in terms of administration, physical developments and restoration of peace to the campus for teaching and learning.
Achuenu commended the State Government through the Ministry for the support given to the institution.
However,the Rector appealed to the state government for more lecture halls , Multipurpose Auditorium to be completed and a good networking road in the school premises.
The Rector conducted the Commissioner, and his entourage round the various projects and sites within the institution.
