The Delta State Police Command has said that there was no incident of kidnapping along the Ughelli Warri Road within the week or in the recent past.
The Police Image Maker, SP Bright Edafe in a reaction to the viral voice today said it was mere exaggeration wondering what the person intended to achieve by posting such message on the social media.
Edafe dismissed the said audio message:,’It is a complete exaggeration, I don’t know what the person hope to achieve with this voice note.’
In the said voice note, the producer warned those plying the Warri /Ughelli road around 6pm, saying that it was a danger zone.
The voice claimed that kidnappers had killed some people especially around Ekerawen and Egbo villages.
The voice even said that the daring kidnappers move from house to house to kidnap people, calling on the government to do something about it.
