Nigerian women have been charged not to keep silent about sexual abuse and domestic violence.
The charge was given recently in Asaba by Ms Udoka Ikebuwa while speaking to female students of Victory Baptist Academy, Asaba.
Ikebuwa, the converner of Pad-A-Girl Foundation said that not speaking out about sexual abuse and domestic violence would make such men with evil intentions to do more.
She advised the students :’It has become necessary for girls to speak up, pay attention to their menstrual health, as well as ask for help when in doubt.’
The NGO convernor told girls and women to be conscious of their environment so as not to be victims of sexual abuse.
Some female students spoke on the need for parents, especially mothers to be mentor and confidant.
