Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate has tendered apology on the omissions and erroneous enteries in his party presidential campaign council membership.
He therefore appealed to party members to exercise patience as the errors would be corrected.
Obi made this appeal today via his verified Twitter account.
He said that he has received several calls from concerned party members on the composition of the Labour Party presidential campaign council.
He promised that the issues raised would be addressed very soon.
The presidential hopeful stated that in his commitment to accountability, an updated presidential campaign council list shall be issued.
Obi tweeted :’I’ve received several calls of concern following the release of the Labour Party presidential campaign council list. Admittedly, there were some omissions and erroneous enteries in the list, hence the concerns expressed. In response, the Labour Party chairman in the presence of members of the NWC addressed the issues during a press conference. In keeping with our commitment to accountability, responsiveness and transparency, an updated list will be issued in due course. I plead for patience.’
