Ndokwa East communities send SOS to FGN

Asaba-Ase, Ase and other communities in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria are totally submerged by floods with lost of goods and properties worth billions of naira. t

Dr Godspower Ogege, a community Leader of Asaba-Ase and Director General of Atiku/Okowa Grassroots Ambassadors of Nigeria, told reporters that the rampaging effects have rendered every body in the local government homeless and damage properties, businesses, farms, fish ponds and other belongings.

Ogege called on the Federal and State Governments to emulate the provision of $1 Million Aids by United States of America through the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID) to assist Nigerians that are being displaced and properties destroyed, stressing that such good gesture are worthy of emulation and to use the money judiciously to the elevation of the suffering of its most affected citizens.

He lamented that all citizens in Ndokwa East Local Government will start afresh when the flood recedes to build and renovate houses, purchasing goods and properties, setting up of businesses, farms and others , stressing that the hardship will be too much to be faced by its citizens without aids from the government.
