A former national heavyweight boxing champion
Popular Emmanuel America has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for successful hosting of the 8th National Youth Games in Asaba.
He also lauded the Delta athletes for clinching the first position.
America made this remark today in Asaba in a chat with selected reporters.
He said the governor has demonstrated his love for the youths by placing sport at the front burner of his administration.
While lauding the governor for the feat, America who is also chairman of Inter party Relations in the state reminded the governor to keep his promise of building an international stadium in Warri.
The boxing champion also commended the governor for the building of Warri bridge flyerover.
He praised Mr Festus Ohwojero, the director general of Delta State Sports Commission for his role during the sports festival.
He stated that Ohwojero was an astute administrator who piloted the affairs of the commission effectively.
