Monarchs bless two Ijaw politicians

Two Ijaw politicians seeking elective positions were recently blessed by some traditional rulers.
The politicians are Mr Tam Obriki for Bomadi/Patani federal constituency and Barrister Raymos Guanah for Patani state constituency on the platform of APC.
At the palace of the Pere of Kabowei kingdom, Mr Tam Obriki pledged to represent his people, adding that the problem of flooding in the constituency would be adequately addressed.
Speaking at the palace, Barrister Raymos Guanah said if elected, the welfare of farmers would be taken care of through mechanized farming and provision of improved seedlings.
Guanah ,a former commissioner disclosed that empowerment of the youth was the driving force of his political ambition.
Responding, his Majesty the Pere of Kabowei kingdom, Barrister Erebulu commended the two politicians for offering themselves for service.
The monarch tasked them not to forget their campaign promises and offered his prayers and blessings.
On a visit to the palace of the Ebenanaowei of Kumbo, His Majesty Jackson Angalabiri, Obriki said he was motivated to go to the House of Representatives because the incumbent after 24 years has not been able to attract any meaningful development to the constituency.
Responding ,His Majesty Jackson Angalabiri advised Tam Obriki to work with people at the various local government areas who have the capacity to support and deliver him

Also speaking at the palace, Guanah, a former LGA chairman said he has a passion for grassroots developments and promised to make the completion of Patani local government Secretariat a priority.
His Majesty Jackson Angalabiri observed that he was convinced of the ability of Guanah to provide quality representation for the people.
Those who accompanied the two politicians were led by the LGA party chairman Mr Julius Oruma, Chief Lawrence Babodor, the vice chairman and Mr Anthony Adausi, the party secretary.
