Mixed reactions greet Tinubu return
The president elect Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned yesterday to Nigeria after 34 days in France and met with mixed reactions.
A picture is trending on line showing a medical tube attached attached to his right arm.
However, speaking on his verified Twitter account yesterday, the president elect said he was extremely excited to be back home.
He also stated that he was deeply humbled by the warmth reception in Abuja.
He appreciated them for their love and support, promising to deliver a nation of renewed hope.
Tinubu tweeted thus :I am extremely excited to be back home and deeply humbled by the warm welcome I received on my return to Abuja today.
Thank you all for your love and support. Our promise to deliver a nation of Renewed Hope for all Nigerians remains in motion.’
There were mixed reactions to Tinubu tweets with some lauding him while others criticizing him.
A Twitter handle with the name Yettyo gave praise to God for Tinubu return.
Yettyo tweeted thus:’Welcome backā€¦ may God continue to strengthen and uphold you. May God’s favour continue to surround you as a shield in Jesus name. Instead of shame, God shall give double honour and everlasting joy shall be yours. He whom God has blessed no man can curse in Jesus name,’
Bob banke, another Twitter handle took an extreme view.
Said Bob banke :’Yes we see your artificial oxygen, this patch patch can never rule Nigeria!
