The Minority leader in the House of Representatives, Honourable Ndudi Elumelu today took swipe on some state legislators for indolence and their inabilities to deliver constituency projects.
The state legislators indicted are legislators for Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Oshimili South and Oshimili North state constituencies.
Elumelu, a member of House of Representatives for Aniocha/ Oshimili federal constituency dropped the bombshell while speaking to reporters in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
Elumelu said he had virtually taken over the roles of the four state Legislators
The four state constituencies make up the Aniocha Oshimili federal constituency.
He therefore called on the affected legislators to be alive to their legislative duties.
On his stewardship for almost four years, Elumelu disclosed that he sponsored motion on a weekly basis.
Among them were about the missing Vanguard newspaper reporter and Eight hundred million dollars of stolen crude oil.
The federal legislator said he sponsored a number of bills including the establishment of Federal University of Technology in Asaba, creation of Anioma state, infectious disease and lobbyists bill.
He said that his constituency projects were so many that it would require a volume to compile all of them
Some of them according to Elumelu include the provision of solar lights, building sixty two flats and a clinic for DSS, in Asaba ,appointment of 150 persons as personal assistants, 15 transformers at 7 million Naira each and giving 346 people loans from CBN.
He therefore asked the people of his constituency to vote for him in Saturday election to get more dividends of democracy.
