Lawyers of Isoko extraction blamed their parents and elders for training their children as teachers instead of lawyers.
They also regretted that was the reason most Isoko lawyers are not occupying sensitive positions in the bar and bench.
These sentiments were expressed by Isoko Lawyers Forum. recently at Isoko Development Union Secretariat, Oleh in Isoko South local government areas of Delta State.
It would be recalled that the Isokos became famous in the production of primary school teachers in the former Bendel State because of Saint Michael Teachers College, Oleh and Saint Joseph Teachers College, Ozoro.
Speaking at the inaugural meeting of the forum, the chairman Mr Michael Asugo said the forum was meant to assist members to take their rightful place in the legal profession and advance the cause of justice.
He thanked lawyers present for their financial contribution for making the inauguration possible , promising that the forum was meant to advance Isoko progress and development.
