The Labour Party has warned the All Progressive Congress to stop attacking its members.
In a statement issued yesterday by the national publicity secretary, Mr Arabumbi Abayomi made reference to the attacks of its members in Katsina state.
Abayomi called on the security operatives to arrest those behind the unprovoked attacks.
The Labour Party warned that no political party has monopoly of violence.
The statement reads thus:’We note with sadness the mercilessly coordinated attacks by the military wing of the APC in Katsina state on the peace loving Obedient political movement supporters of Mr Peter Obi.
Sadly, with this reprehensible behavior, it is fast getting clearer that the APC has officially adopted violent attacks on LP presidential candidate support groups across the states of the nation.
We like to put it on record that while we abhor all forms of violence, we wish to warn that no political party has the monopoly of crude and organized violence.’
